Experience:

• Understand nuances of U.K. English
• Ensure that there are no grammatical & factual errors and punctuations are used properly
• Ensure consistency and flow of the report in line with the domain and client requirement
• Generally, reports range from 80 to 150 pages. Hence, an editor needs to ensure that consistency in terms of language, punctuations, etc. is maintained throughout the report.
• Edit content to improve readability while adhering to in-house style guidelines
• Check the text’s references, journal abbreviations and style reference list
• Review and approve reports/articles/content in within strict deadlines

• Excellent command over English language, especially written English
• Keen eye for detail

• Ability to understand analysts’ thoughts and question logic, if flawed
