Automotive gaskets are mechanical seals used to fill the gap between two components to stop any leakage that may occur during the compression stage. Automotive gaskets are manufactured with a diverse set of materials such as plastic polymer, gasket paper, rubber, silicone, fibreglass, cork, felt and metal. These gaskets comprise a flexible material that is placed between the fuel pump mounting surface and the fuel pump spacer block to control oil leakage.

Transmission seals – Transmission seals are typically in the form of a sheet or ring that is used to make a pressure-resistant connection between the transmission components of an automobile. Transmission seals can either be internal or external seals. Internal transmission seals are installed to prevent any leakage in clutch packs, accumulators, and servos, while external transmission seals stop fluid leakage outside the transaxle case.
